1. Introduction
Vamoz (commercial company name) was founded in 2022 and is owned by MGC Clean Energy S.L. The company is registered in Spain and operates in the rental of electric scooters (eScooters) via a mobile application (Vamoz app). The electric scooter is a vehicle and can only be rented out to customers who have registered themselves through the Vamoz app. Vamoz electric scooters are designed to be easy to use and offer a practical and environmentally friendly transport option for city dwellers. The company follows safety regulations and is committed to creating sustainable and longterm solutions for the citizens of the various city areas.
These are the general terms and conditions (the Terms) that Vamoz applies to its services to you as a customer. The terms and conditions regulate the use of the Vamoz app and the rental agreements regarding electric scooters (vehicle rental agreements) entered into via the Vamoz app.
Please read these terms carefully. The terms contain information about how Vamoz provides its services to you, how you enter into or terminate an agreement with Vamoz, what to do in case of any problems and other important information.
2. Information about Vamoz
Vamoz electric scooters are designed to be easy to use and accessible to everyone. They are equipped with electronic components that enable users to find and rent the electric scooter via a mobile app. The electric scooters can be unlocked and locked using the app, and payment is made automatically when the user is done with the trip.
Vamoz electric scooters are also designed to be durable and environmentally friendly. They are equipped with electric motors and batteries that make it possible to drive far on a single charge. The company is committed to minimizing its environmental impact by using sustainable materials and recycling the scooters at the end of their life. Security is a high priority for Vamoz. The scooters are equipped with safety features that enable users to stay safe during the journey.
3. Terms of the App
3.1 By using the Vamoz app, you agree to abide by these terms of use.
3.2 The Vamoz app is only intended for persons aged 18 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
3.3 The Vamoz app is used to find and rent electric scooters (kickscooters) offered by Vamoz or its partners.
3.4 To use the Vamoz app, you must register and add a valid payment method. You are responsible for keeping your payment information up to date.
3.5 By using the Vamoz app, you agree to pay for all rentals and any additional costs that may arise, for example for damage to the scooter or for parking in a non-permitted location.
3.6 You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Vamoz app and the scooters, including traffic, parking and environmental regulations.
3.7 It is a legal requirement that you must wear a helmet on your head during the entire ride with a Vamoz scooter. By using the Vamoz app, you agree that you are aware of this legal requirement and that it is your responsibility to provide yourself with a helmet.
3.8 You are also responsible for using the scooters in a safe and responsible manner, and for keeping informed of and following all instructions found on the scooter or in the app.
3.9 Vamoz reserves the right to terminate or limit your use of the app or the scooters if you violate these Terms of Use or if you use the app or the scooters in an inappropriate or illegal manner.
3.10 Vamoz reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. By continuing to use the Vamoz app after changes have been made, you agree to abide by the changed terms.
3.11 Vamoz is not liable for any damages or losses arising as a result of your use of the app or the scooters.
3.12 By using the Vamoz app, you also agree to our privacy policy and cookie policy available in the Terms and conditions (here below) and on the website (Vamozscooters.com).
4. Privacy policy
4.1 Vamoz respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our services, including the mobile app and website.
4.2 We collect information about you when you register to use our services, including your name, contact details and payment information. We may also collect information about your use of our services, including information about scooters you have rented, trips you have taken and location data.
4.3 We use your information to provide and improve our services, including keeping track of your payment, dealing with damage to the scooters and improving the app’s features. We may also use your information to contact you with offers and information about our services.
4.4 We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, with the exception of any legal requirements or to protect our rights.
4.5 We use security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, loss or damage.
4.6 We comply with applicable data protection legislation and are committed to maintaining your right to privacy.
4.7 We may change this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be announced on the website or in the app.

5. Cookie policy
Vamoz uses cookies on the website and in the mobile app to improve your user experience and collect information about your use of our services.
A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your device when you visit the website or use the app. Cookies enable us to recognize your device and improve your user experience by saving your settings and preferred language.
We use both session and permanent cookies. Session cookies are only stored temporarily on your device and are deleted when you close your browser or app. Permanent cookies are saved on your device until they expire or are removed manually.
We use cookies to collect information about your use of our services, including which scooters you have rented, which trips you have made and your location data. This information is used to improve our services and offer more relevant offers and information.
We also use third-party cookies from services such as Google Analytics to collect information about how Vamoz website is used and to improve the website and app.
You can choose to block or delete cookies from your device by changing the settings in your browser or in your app settings. Please note that if you choose to block or delete cookies, this may affect your user experience and make it more difficult for us to improve our services.
This cookie policy may change from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the website or in theapp.
6. User account for Vamoz
In order to use the Vamoz services, including finding and renting electric scooters (kickscooters) via the Vamoz mobile app, you must create a user account. By creating a user account, you agree to abide by Vamoz’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Creating a user account is easy and can be done through Vamoz app or website
(Vamozscooters.com). You need to fill in your contact details, including name, phone number and email address. You must also add a valid payment method in order to rent Vamoz scooters.
After creating your user account, you can start searching and find Vamoz scooters near you, unlock and start a ride. You can also see your previous trips, the cost per trip and manage your payment method.
Please note that you must be the person who owns the bank account or credit card whose information you provide in the Vamoz app. It is important to keep your personal information up to date, especially your email address, mobile number and payment information.
You shall not share your personal login information with others. If you have done it, you must immediately change your password if there is reason to believe that someone else has gained access to it and it is your responsibility to inform Vamoz support of this.
It is possible to unlock scooters for other people through your account in the Vamoz app. Keep in mind that whoever unlocks scooters for others through the app is responsible for their understanding of the terms and conditions and that everyone driving the scooters is at least 18 years old.
You are responsible for ensuring that mobile data communication is available and you must pay any charges applied by your mobile operator for data transfer costs.
It is forbidden to reverse-engineer, copy or manipulate the Vamoz app using technical methods. If it is found that you have violated or attempted to violate this prohibition, Vamoz has the right to immediately disable your access to the Vamoz app without prejudice to other rights and obligations under law.
You are responsible for keeping your login information and payment information up to date. You are also responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the services offered by Vamoz. You must immediately inform Vamoz of the loss or theft of the mobile phone associated with your user account or of any other circumstances that make it likely that your user account may be used by someone other than yourself. Vamoz will disable your access to your user account until the matter is resolved. If you have any questions or problems with your user account, please contact Vamoz support.
7. Ending a trip with Vamoz
When you have reached your destination and finished your trip with the Vamoz electric scooter (kickscooter), it is important to end your trip in the right way to avoid extra costs.
First of all, make sure to park the scooter in a place where it is allowed to park according to local ordinances and regulations. This includes parking it on a bicycle rack or in a place where it does not obstruct pedestrian traffic or the accessibility of others and is a nuisance to others. It is important that the vehicle is parked in a place where it cannot harm anyone or anything, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is safely parked.
Once you have found a suitable place to park, open the Vamoz app and select the ”End trip” option in the app. When you have chosen this option, the scooter will be locked and your trip will end.
If you have parked the scooter in an unauthorized place, it will not be possible to end the trip. Then move the scooter to a permitted place and end the parking there. You can see permitted and prohibited places in the map in the Vamoz app.
You must park the electric scooter using the support that the electric scooter is equipped with.
It is not allowed to park the electric scooter next to trees, road signs, traffic lights, parking machines, vending machines, third-party fences, benches, containers, garbage cans, in front of or near emergency exits and fire department buildings, in front of entrances or exits in zones where it is not allowed to stop , in access roads leading to travel centers, on cycle paths, at orientation aids for the blind, at pedestrian crossings, inside buildings, in courtyards of buildings, by other vehicles, in parks and other green areas, in places where the electric scooter can hide advertising or street furniture or where a facility’s function would be impaired, in areas reserved for loading and unloading or in places reserved for other users or services or in areas where parking the electric scooter would impede the use of the space required by wheelchair users and persons with disabilities.
It is also not permitted to park in private or business areas. You may not park in courtyards. You may not park in parking garages. You may not park in customer parking spaces, especially in front of shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants and bars. You may not park in indoor environments. In addition, the electric scooter may not be parked in areas subject to parking restrictions on certain days or times of the day or for specific vehicles. This also applies to parking bans that have already been announced by the local authorities but have not yet come into effect, for example temporary parking bans that apply at a future time due to events or house movers affecting the location in question.
You are obliged to provide information about the exact location where you parked the electric scooter if requested by Vamoz support. Please note that failure to complete your trip correctly may result in additional costs to you. Thus, be sure to follow these steps when ending your journey with the Vamoz electric scooter.
8. Payment with Vamoz
In order to use the Vamoz services, including finding and renting electric scooters (kickscooters) through our mobile app, you must add a valid payment method to your user account.
Vamoz accepts a wide range of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, PayPal and local payment methods. Once you have rented a scooter, the cost of the trip will be deducted from your chosen payment method after you have completed your trip.
The cost of each trip is displayed in the app and can also be viewed in the history of previous trips.
You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date and ensuring that there are sufficient funds on your chosen payment method to cover the cost of your trip. If there are insufficient funds on your selected payment method, Vamoz will attempt to withdraw the funds from another payment method you have added to your account. If there are insufficient funds on any of your payment methods, you will not be able to complete your trip and may also be charged a fee.
Vamoz can also offer different subscriptions and promotional prices for the use of the scooters. It is important to read and understand the terms of these offers before accepting them.

9. Vamoz’s responsibility
Vamoz has a responsibility to ensure that the services offered are safe and reliable for customers. This includes responsibility for:
- ensuring that the scooters are in good condition and safe to use.
- providing correct and clear instructions for the use of the electric scooters.
- answering questions and explain any problems customers may have with the electric scooters.
- handling complaints and address any issues customers may have with the services.
- ensuring that customers have access to support and help when needed. – ensuring that customers’ personal data is handled securely in accordance with current data protection regulations.
- taking responsibility for damages that may occur due to an error on Vamoz’s part, for example if the electric scooter is not in good condition and it causes damage to the customer or his property.
It is important to note that customers also have a responsibility to follow the Vamoz terms and conditions and all applicable traffic rules and laws. The customer is also responsible for damages that may occur to the electric scooter due to improper use of the electric scooter.
10. The customer’s responsibility
The customer’s responsibilities in connection with the use of Vamoz services include the following;
- To have turned 18 and have a valid driver’s license or ID card.
- To comply with all applicable traffic rules and laws in the country where the services are used.
- To use a helmet that is provided by yourself (the customer) during the whole ride with a Vamoz scooter.
- To check that the electric scooter is in good condition before use and report any problems to Vamoz support immediately.
- To be held responsible for all damage caused by the customer’s use of the electric scooter, including damage to the electric scooter and damage to third parties.
- Not to use the electric scooter for commercial purposes, including offering it as a taxi service or to make deliveries.
- Not to lend the electric scooter to another person or let another person use it with the customer’s account.
- To comply with Vamoz terms and conditions and any additional regulations that may apply in the country where the services are used.
- To be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur due to accident, sabotage or other unusual condition, which is caused by the customer.
- Note that the mobile phone holder is an external accessory that is not integrated into the scooter. This means that there is a risk that the mobile holder’s attachment is weakened. It is therefore at your own risk and responsibility if you attach your mobilephone to the holder on the vehicle.
11. Personal Information
Vamoz processes personal information in a secure and confidential manner. Vamoz collects and processes the customer’s personal data in order to offer the services and to fulfill legal requirements and legal obligations.
Vamoz collects the following types of personal information from customers:
- Identification information, including name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Payment details, including credit or debit card numbers.
- Information about the use of the Services, including location data and times of use.
Vamoz uses the personal data to;
- Manage the customer’s account and offer the services.
- Invoicing and processing of payments.
- Communicate with the customer about the services and handle any questions or complaints.
- Fulfill legal requirements and legal obligations.
- Improve the services and provide customized offers and advertising.
Vamoz uses secure technologies to protect personal data against unauthorized access or loss. The personal data will not be sold or disclosed to third parties without the customer’s consent. The customer has the right to request access to their personal data, to have it changed or deleted.
Vamoz complies with current data protection legislation and has implemented appropriate measures to ensure that the customer’s personal data is handled securely and confidentially.
12. Dispute Resolution
Vamoz’s dispute resolution department will investigate the dispute and work with both parties to try to find a solution. Vamoz’s dispute resolution department may also use different methods of dispute resolution, such as negotiations, mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through Vamoz’s internal dispute resolution process, the customer may choose to file a lawsuit in court or seek the assistance of an independent third party to resolve the dispute.
It is important to note that dispute resolution may differ depending on the country in which Vamoz offers its services and the customer should always check and follow the local rules.
